1958-1962 reproduction Corvette heater water control valve. This valve mounts under the dash and controls the flow of coolant to the heater core, cable operated. The early design valves included a capillary sensor tube for automatic heater temperature control which was eventually eliminated by GM.

1958-1962 reproduction Corvette heater water control valve. This valve mounts under the dash and controls the flow of coolant to the heater core, cable operated.
The early design valves included a capillary sensor tube for automatic heater temperature control which was eventually eliminated by GM. The lever that the cable pulls is what really opens or closed the valve.
