This correct C2 version has the relief cutout at the top of the shield and the tie strap hole for the battery cables.

Corvette Central’s 63-66 non a/c battery holddowns are 100% correct and Made in the USA. Watch for foreign reproductions!
Semi gloss black painted ring and stamped metal heat shield. This correct C2 version has the relief cutout at the top of the shield and the tie strap hole for the battery cables.

Note: 63E Battery Shield has a notch in the shield, and no hole for the battery cable tie strap. The 63L-66 has the hole for the tie strap.
