82-96 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COVER – LOW PROFILE – CAST FINISH ALUMINUM

Description

Low profile transmission pan for those with the 1982-1993 700R4 transmission or the 1993-1996 4L60E
transmission.
*Cast-in cooling fins
*Stiff aluminum construction with a .160″ thick wall adds strength to the transmission case
*Thick-machined .350″ gasket flange provides uniform clamping force on the gasket, for a no-leak, secure seal (stock covers are .035″ stamped steel stock cover)
*Magnetic drain plug allows oil changes without removing the pan
*Available in 2 finishes: as cast, or black powder coated part # 533074
*Holds 4 quarts over stock for cooler oil temperatures.

NOTE: Some Corvette transmissions will require a modification to the 700-R4 shift cable bracket.

NOTE: These are sand cast parts and there will be some porosity.
